Rapid Appraisals are a new series of publications produced by the RDTC.  Our aim is to identify important clinical trials published in the literature, which may have major implications for service delivery or drug management of disease states.  We then appraise and evaluate the trial and present the information in a format that can be used to inform GPs, pharmaceutical advisers and other relevant users.
